Ingredients:
4 pieces Pork chops, 180g each
Salt
White pepper
Ground cumin
Oil
½ cup Daily Apple Roselle Syrup
¼ cup Red wine
2 cups Chicken stock
2 tsp Cornstarch
1 Tbsp Butter
Procedure:
- Season pork chops with salt, pepper, and cumin.
- Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium heat, add the pork chops and sear them about 3 minutes each side, depending on thickness, until it is well done. Set aside.
- In the pan combine Daily Apple Roselle Syrup, wine, and chicken stock and simmer for 5 minutes. Add salt and pepper.
- Dissolve the cornstarch in 2 tablespoons of water and add to the sauce, boil until thick. Remove from the heat and whisk in the butter.
- Place chops on a bed of sauce and serve.
