Capsicum fructescens (Sili)
Capsicum fructescens (Sili) is a rich source of antioxidants, alkaloids, flavonoids, polyphenols, carotenoids, vitamin C, and vitamin E. Capsaicin is the predominant compound present in cayenne pepper that possesses pain desensitization and analgesic property that is useful for chronic pain associated with rheumatoid arthritis, post-herpetic neuralgia, diabetic neuropathy, and other pain syndromes.
