Herbanext Lab Wins DOST's Outstanding S&T Partner from Industry

Javier, who happens to be a friend of my dad way back in the late 60s in UP Los Banos. He was DOST Secretary from 1981-1986, and UP President from 1993-1999. Dr. Javier spearheaded the establishment of the Institute of Plant Breeding in Los Baños, which popularized high-yielding crops and disease-resistant plant varieties in Asia.
