Sweet Roselle

Sweet Roselle is a healthy snack made with Roselle (Hibiscus sabdariffa) calyces. It is loaded with calcium, vitamin C, B vitamins and other essential minerals. The plant is considered to have antihypertensive properties.

Hibiscus sabdariffahas been used in folk medicine as a diuretic, mild laxative, and treatment for cardiac and nerve diseases and cancer. In Africa and Asia, roselle calyxes are harvested fresh to produce pro-health drink due to high contents of vitamins and anthocyanins. Roselle calyxes used in this product are organically certified.

Roselle Jam

Roselle Jam is made of freshly harvested roselle (Hisbiscus sabdariffa) calyx. It has a characteristic taste that is reminiscent of cranberry. Roselle jam has been made since the colonial times. It is called Rosella Jam in Australia, and Florida Cranberry in the US, and Hibiscus Jam in other places.

It is still sold regularly at community fairs and charity stalls. Roselle jam is rich in fiber, calcium, niacin, riboflavin and iron. It also contains anthocyanins and natural vitamin C. Roselle calyces used in this product are organically certified.
